Do we choose to look and dress a specific way because it’s a genuine expression of our personality, or out of a desire to be perceived by others as the kind of person we want to be? What do the most obvious visual traits about us emphasize or hide about our true selves? For an exhibit with the theme “Hidden” organized by Konstfrämjandet Skåne, I chose to photograph my classmates and edit their photos in a way that would emphasize unique visual traits and fashion statements.
